I was lucky enough to try the Baron de Ley Reserva 2004. I believe that 2009 it's a good year to taste this wine. Initially, it surprised me because you have an entry very lively, elegant and noble tannins, well structured with correct acidity , but from my opinion quite short at the end.

To my taste to much wood in this Rioja., what is very common in this appellation. For food pairing , try with red meet with red meat ( "Vacio from Argentina?) or duck .
